What is Shakshuka?

Shakshuka is a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dish that has been cooked for centuries. It is a dish of eggs that are poached in a tomato-herb sauce. Commonly, you find garlic, onions and peppers and spices such as cayenne, cumin, paprika, pepper and nutmeg in the Shakshuka dish.
