With so many delicious things to do in Miami, tourists and locals alike are often spoiled for choice.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the best things you can do in Miami right now.

10. Visit Crandon Park

Crandon Park is probably the most visited park located south of Miami Beach in Biscayne, a beautiful but tiny area with great beaches and other fantastic park areas.

Moreover, what makes the park the most visited is because the swimming conditions are ideal and there is an amusement center as well as a nature center which adds even more to the appeal of Crandon Park.

9. Stroll through the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden

Fairchild takes its name from one of the most famous plant explorers in history, David Fairchild (1869-1954). Open year-round, the garden has a large collection of rare tropical plants, including vines, flowering trees, and cycads. In addition, Fairchild’s collections include tropical fruits, orchids, Florida, and native plants.
A walk in the park will help refresh your senses and reconnect with the simplicity of Mother Nature.

8. Swim in the Venetian pool

You guessed it, the Venetian swimming pool is indeed associated with the city of Venice, Italy. Located in Coral Gables just outside Miami, The Venetian Pool is a little taste of Venice. It is a historic aquatic facility and attracts a large number of visitors each year.

The pool was built in 1923 in a coral rock quarry, it holds approximately 820,000 gallons fed from underground spring water. The Venetian swimming pool gets very busy in high season, however, tickets stop selling as soon as full capacity is reached.

7. Visit the Wolfsonian FIU

The Wolfsonian FIU is a museum, library, and research facility located in the Art Deco District of Miami Beach. The museum features a range of exhibits that explore design at its finest and smartest and explore everything from book covers to propaganda pieces.

6. Catch a performance at the Olympia Theater

Built in 1926 on Flagler Street, the theater offers a range of shows and events throughout the year from concerts to comedy, but what will truly stay in your memory is the interior design. There are plenty of theaters in Miami, but none are as iconic as the Olympia Theater

The theater is Moorish in style with splendid balconies and columns and is very popular for its beautiful interiors which differentiate it from other theaters.

5. Visit the Monkey Jungle

This facility is a conservation and observation park with an impressive history since its inception in 1933. It is home to around 500 primates, covering 18 different species of monkeys and apes.

Regardless, of the number of shows that may take place at the facility, it’s easy to see almost everything in the park in a matter of hours. It is perfect for natural science enthusiasts in general and for anyone who may never have seen wildlife so close up before.

4. Visit Bayfront Park

Bayfront Park was remodeled and given a makeover in the 1980s and is another beautiful park located on the east side of Biscayne Boulevard. Highlights include an electronically controlled pepper fountain, a huge amphitheater used for a range of musical events and performances, a tower for laser illuminations and has three very important monuments, the touch of friendship; a symbol of Miami’s relationship with Central and South America and the WWII Memorial.
The park holds a legacy of Miami history, which makes it a great place to visit.

3. Visit the Jungle Island eco-park

Visiting Jungle Island is a wonderful way to spend the day as it combines adventure and nature with plenty of live entertainment. The eco-park offers a zipline tour for an incredible tree-to-tree adventure, meet wildlife up close and enjoy nature while having a bite or coffee at one of the onsite cafes.

2. Visit the Miami Seaquarium

Watch Orcas in action at Miami Seaquarium. The Seaquarium is considered Florida’s best aquarium because it features impressive marine life displays with turtles, sea lions, penguins, manatees, and many other aquatic species. Plus, if you want to do something memorable, don’t miss the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.

1. Hand-pick strawberries at Knaus Berry Farm

This is for all the fruit lovers which probably includes almost everyone. A delicious activity to do in beautiful Miami is strawberry picking at Knaus Berry Farm. This activity has become somewhat of an unofficial tradition among recent tourists. Children and adults alike can fill their baskets with delicious fresh berries and, of course, eat a few along the way.
