This creamy, fulfilling and delicious detox smoothie is rich not only in flavour, but also in vitamins, due to the various fruits in it. It has enough nutrition’s to replace a meal and there is no need to add any additional sugar as this baby is as sweet as it gets. This peanut butter and berry smoothie is surprisingly not considered a guilty pleasure as you do not have to feel guilty about any of these healthy ingredients, except maybe the guilt for not sharing it…

Ingredients
  • 1 cup water or almond milk
  • 1 soft Medjool date
    pitted
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
    (about 8 whole strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • Pinch of sea salt

    Step 1
    Put the peanut butter, strawberries, dates, banana and raspberries in the blender with some water or milk. If you should use unsalted peanut butter (for whatever reason) then add a pinch of salt.

    Press the button to blend until it achieves the smoothie texture. Should the smoothie prove to not have the desired texture, simply add liquid or peanut butter to achieve the ideal texture.
