Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 Medjool dates
    pitted
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 heaping tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 handful fresh baby spinach (optional)
  • 1 heaping cup ice cubes
How To

    Step 1
    Use a high-speed blender and blend water, avocado, dates, vanilla, spinach and cacao powder until it is smooth as a smoothie.

    Taste it and adjust the sweetness to your liking (make sure to keep in mind that the ice will dilute the flavour, so do not be cheap in your seasoning).

    Add the ice and blend once more. If texture is not as desired, you can always add more ice. Et voilà, your chocolate avocado smoothie is ready!
