Date and Coconut Power Balls

These coconut date balls require only a handful of ingredients, are super simple to prepare and can be stored and transported just like candy. These power balls are the perfect treat to enjoy after sports or while watching a movie.

Ingredients
  • 40g walnuts
  • 40g almonds
  • 8 Medjool dates, roughly chopped
  • 30g coconut flakes
  • 3tbsp almond butter
  • 1tbsp coconut oil
How To

    Step 1
    For the mixture: Put walnuts and almonds in a food processor and process. Add the dates, coconut flakes, almond butter and coconut oil and mix until a compact mixture is formed. With wet hands, shape into 16 balls and place them on a baking tray.

    Step 2
    To bake: Bake the date and coconut balls in the centre of a preheated oven (160 degrees) for approx. 15 mins. Remove from oven and leave to cool on a rack.
